Hello. My name is Amelia and I am obsessed with wool. And knitting. And spinning. And dyeing. And felting. (You get the idea.) I live in a cute quiet town in central Massachusetts with my most excellent husband, our cute-ass baby girl, and two uppity cats who are nearly as into wool as I am. When not indulging my fiber obsession, I enjoy vegetarian cooking, growing food in the backyard, kicking ass at Scrabble and reading books.
From 2005-2007 I sold handspun yarn and fiber through this site. I’m still on hiatus from selling at this point (unless you happen to be the one person out there remaining with an outstanding gift certificate–take my yarn, please!) I may start selling handspun yarn and spinning fiber again in the future, but I’m more interested in knitting than spinning right now.
When I’m not indulging my fiber obsession, I work from home as an independent technology consultant. I have a very neglected spot on Tumblr where I talk about work-related stuff: new media, technology, library stuff, and the social web.
